OUR PRIVACY POLICY

FAMME fully respects your privacy regarding the processing of personal data that you as a customer provide to us. By providing us with your data, you consent to FAMME using the collected data to fulfill our obligations to you, thereby providing you with the highest level of service possible. The purpose of processing and registering your data is solely to prepare, process, and complete your order, to improve our customer service, and for marketing purposes. We will not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to any unrelated third party for marketing purposes.

Data transferred to a third party is solely used to fulfill FAMME’s obligations to you as a customer. FAMME may transfer data to FAMME’s subcontractors in connection with deliveries (for example, your address, which is necessary for our shipping agents to deliver your order).

You may at any time write to FAMME and withdraw your consent to allow FAMME to use your data for marketing purposes (for example by sending you newsletters, offers, and such). If you wish to change your registered personal data or if you have any questions about which personal data we have registered, please contact us.

 

COOKIES

There are various technologies, including one called cookies, which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a website. A cookie is a piece of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. Some FAMME pages use cookies or other technologies so that we can better serve you when you return to our site. PAYMENT

Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit, or as otherwise instructed on the webshop. Where payment is subject to validation and/or authorization by a card issuer or bank or to credit validation, any Order Confirmation is subject to such validation or authorization. We cooperate with an authorized payment service provider (PSP), who processes your personal details in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS, developed by international credit card companies such as VISA, MasterCard, and Diners. All transactions are sent through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) in encrypted form, and all card details and payment information will be protected and processed with a high level of security.

To be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass certain personal information, such as contact and order details, to Klarna so that Klarna can assess whether you qualify for their payment options and tailor the payment options for you.

CONFIDENTIALITY

FAMME recognizes the importance of protecting our customers’ privacy. We ensure that all information you provide when using our services on FAMME’s webshop is protected.

FAMME has taken technical and organizational measures to protect all data from unintended changes, unauthorized access or distribution, accidental loss, and any other form of unauthorized use. However, FAMME cannot guarantee at all times that the webshop is free from technical defects, viruses, or spam. Some functions on the webshop may be inaccessible for short periods for maintenance and updates.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

FAMME is not responsible for the technical equipment and software needed to use the webshop. There may be short periods of maintenance or disruptions, and FAMME is not responsible for any disturbances, interruptions, or other problems that may occur in connection with these. FAMME cannot guarantee that the webshop will always be free from defects such as viruses or spam.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure occurs when external circumstances substantially prevent the performance of an obligation under the agreement, for example war, state intervention, strikes, staff illness, shipping disruptions, restrictions on energy supplies, bans, restrictions, declined permissions, import and export restrictions, natural disasters, accidents, etc., which reasonably could not have been foreseen when entering into the agreement and could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome. This applies both to FAMME and to FAMME’s subcontractors.

In the event of force majeure, FAMME’s obligations are deferred. If the period of force majeure is not temporary, you as well as aim'n have the right to cancel the purchase agreement without any obligation to pay compensation. Such measures are taken by contacting FAMME’s customer service.

 

DISPUTES

If a dispute regarding these terms and conditions arises, the consumer should contact FAMME’s customer service and try to resolve the disagreement as a first step. A dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be brought before the court in the place where the defendant resides.

 

COPYRIGHT

The content of the webshop is copyright-protected and is the property of FAMME. All intellectual property rights to the content of the webshop belong to FAMME. It is allowed to download, print, copy, and blog about the material on the webshop for your own personal purposes, but not for commercial purposes. This assumes that the material is not altered and that all intellectual property rights remain reserved by FAMME. It is allowed to link to the webshop. All rights reserved. Photographs on the webshop are not to be copied.

You of course have the opportunity at any time to inform us in writing that you do not wish your personal data to be used for marketing purposes.

 

 

Payment by card

 

 

Card numbers are not stored beyond what is necessary to ensure effective handling of any issues with charges, cancellation of reservations, and crediting.

 

 

Cookies

 

 

Cookies are a text string that is stored from your PC when you visit. This is necessary when you register and complete a purchase (it is possible to view products without using cookies).

 

 

We store a permanent cookie used to recognize you when you return. This is deleted when you log out of your account.

 

 

We also collect and store log data about which categories and products our customers click or search for, in order to learn what our customers are interested in and to improve product selection and offers. This information is also used to allow displaying related products on the site. The information is also used to produce traffic statistics for, among other things, capacity planning.

 

 

Personal data to third parties

 

 

FAMME does not sell personal data to third parties, nor do we exchange or disclose such information to third parties. Outsiders can only access the information if it is necessary to perform specific services for FAMME. In such cases, strict agreements are made to safeguard information security, and FAMME will always decide how the data processing is to be conducted. FAMME, through the CEO, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described above.
